How does alcohol affect Cipralex (Lexapro)?

I was just prescribed Cipralex (called Lexapro in the USA) for anxiety, and be told by my doctor that I couldn't drink any alcohol. My pharmacist, however, told me it was OK to have a couple of drinks while on Cipralex, just to avoid binge drinking and drinking too regularly. I like drinking, I like going out with my friends and have a few beer. Now I know binge drinking is out of the question, but does anyone have any real, first paw information about having a few beer while on Cipralex (Lexapro)? If I get a headache or another mild side effect from the combination, it's fine, I'd simply rather not go into cardiac arrest. Thank you in finance.

Take the Lexapro (Cip..) contained by the morning, sometime around 7/8/9am
Regardless of whether you have had a "nite out or not"
OR feel a bit whoozy from the nite up to that time.

JUST DO NOT take the medication "at the same time" as you take a beer. And try NOT to overdo the Beer constantly, or stick to drinklng "Light" beer.

IF you do NOT embezzle the medication at the same time or close to the same time, as you have a drink, later its OK.

Your tablets should be surrounded by a blister pack with the days shown..stick to the days shown and take at the time, I have suggested.
Lexapro (Cip..)is an anti depressant for Depression, and used also to treat Anxiety disorders.
How much Lexapro is suitable for Anxiety is debateable.
Like most anti depressants, it has side effects..Sometimes experienced around 20 minutes after taking them.
DO NOT abruptly STOP taking Lexapro without medical guidance first.

I enjoy gotten drunk on it before. What it does is intensifies the effects of the alcohol, making you get drunk quicker. In my case surrounded by also caused blackouts more frequently. Try to keep it to a few but its not the end of the world if you capture drunk on it.
