What should you do if you're friend is suicidal?
It's been about 4 months since next and she is talking about suicide very seriously. She have always talked about it but I thought that she be getting help so everything would be fine. She stops taking her prozac because she feels like it make her lose control. I have to convince her every time to go back on it.
I'm not sure what I should do in a minute. If I tell again the only thing departed will be for her to be hospitalized, which I know she is petrified of. She will hate me again, which I suppose I could live with as long as she is alive. But the thing is that I know our friendship is one of the few reason she is still alive. If that ends I'm not sure how she will cope. Is it selfish to make someone live when they so desperately don't want to?

Let your friend know you are there for her and report her parents, do that and get proffesianal advice.
make sure you do what you are doing....if you know your friend is not taking her pills...TELL her parents...in fact Tell her parents that your friend is talking more and more going on for suicide.......
Prozac has often been the wrong medication for general public...perhaps she needs to be put on a different type of medication in demand to properly
be stabilized.
Do what you need to do. Don't be afraid that your friend will hate you...that should be the least of your worries.

If your friend is suicidal, you need to support prevent it. There are hot-lines you can call like 1-8OO-784-2433 and 1-8OO-273-8255. And I am not one to judge whether it is self-seeking or not. Everyone has different morals.

Tell a trusted adult like your mom, your aunt, a mentor. SHe may be mad at you after you tell but she will thank you later.

you need to let her parents know... i know you will consistency like you are being a bad friend but you don't want her to put to death herself either.

question for you. would you a bit she hate you and be alive or not hate you and be dead? i know what i would choose but which one would you choose. i remember what it is similar to to be young, since i was young once but i also know what it is approaching to want to take your life. i have tried three times within my life. once when i was 15, once when i was 31 and the closing time i was 45. i also know what it is like to be placed in a psych ward against my will but contained by the long run i am glad that i was forced to go into the psych ward. my life is so much better in a minute and i am a happier person for it. the decision has to be yours but seriously conjecture about the question that i asked at the beginning here. i Wish you ALL the Best! You should confer to her about it and assure her that your only thinking of her and you want whats best for her and you don't want her to get hurt. Tell her you want to acquire her professional help and you'll be by her side all the way. Leave it at that if she say no, but if she continue's talking about suicide then you will enjoy no choice but to get her proper help (call a hotline/call a hospital maybe). She's your friend and you want to help her right? You necessitate to seek help, whether she wants you to or not. But remember, don't pressurise her, but wish help.
