I am strange? I'm sort of a loner and a 15 years older.?
I don't go to parties and I'm more of a serene person, which was the opposite of my mother. She other tells me she's extremely worried about me, which I think is because she be always the opposite and was more of an extrovert.
And honestly I don't protection about high school "experience" that much. I plan on going to Columbia University so I'd close to to get good grades instead of getting wasted. I cart AP classes so it's not like I'm stupid and lonely.
Is my mother right? Do I look strange to the outside world, or is she just being biting?
Answers:
No, if you were really strange then you wouldnt talk to anyone or hold any friends, in fact you'd be schizoid. You don't sound schizoid. Just someone who have her eye on her future and wants to do well. A little fun is other good though, you need to make sure you are de stressing and relaxing as in good health as the other stuff as that is just as important! You're right, the glorious school experience is just bullcrap. For some people, it's more considerable because they aren't blessed with natural intelligence. Interpersonal/social skills will get you job.

Don't worry about it. If you're at ease doing what you do then keep on doing it. It sounds like you're more developed than your mother if she's more worried about you partying than getting into college. Besides, there will be plenty of time to experience new things surrounded by college.
