Well you've realised you have a problem, and that's a obedient start.
Try your hardest to go for a set amount of time without doing it, take a break for a time or so if need be and try again and again, gradually increasing the time set. And if you feel that once the time is up you don't obligation to reach for the razor, you can kick this dependence all by yourself.
Though if you feel you can't do this, or really in any case, I suggest you confide in someone you trust. A close friend will do for moral support but if you're having actual trouble, I really recommend that you speak to a professional or school counsellor.
like most populace say, talk to an adult approaching a doctor or a theripist. however, if you dont feel comfortable talkking to an adult, find a close friend who you can trust and xplain to them everything thats going on. tell them that your looking for backing, and not just something to cover up the pain. if they want to tell someone, fashion a deal with them that you want to stop yourself. if a month or two goes by and you still havnt superior, tel them at that time they can get you help. only do this if you are NOT within danger of going to far. when youre about to harm urself, phone call them up, or figure out a way that you can get ahold of them, and articulate your feelings out. tell them how much harming yourself satisfys you. if you cant tell right away, calm yourself down and than explain everything. people arent availible 24/7, so if there are times when you cant go and get ahold of them, its time to get over this time by yourself. tell yourself that you really dont need to do this, and be in motion find something else that you enjoy doing instead. remind yourself how badly you want to stop, and doing it one more time wont backing you to stop at all.

I've been in your place and I know it's so hard.. I never get too too addicted but every once in awhile when something bad happens contained by my family or just life surrounded by general I get this tingling feeling on my moved out wrist (where I would cut) and feel like there is no other prospect. Usually I end up crying on my bathroom floor and praying to god to help me get through it w/o adjectives..I am proud to say it's been about...4 or so months since I've later cut. (I still have scars and I think they give support to me..which sucks because when they fade I'm not sure if I will be able to not do it.. but I trust in god and myself to get through that.)
The first step to transport is realizing what your doing..and knowing that it is helping nothing with your situations..it's freshly a quick escape that doesn't last as long as it should and you're left next to a terrible scar to remember it by. (and possibly even worse damage..you can procure infected or accidentally cut too deep which can be fatal.) The next entity to do is try and stop slowly. First I say the best thing to do is don't break the skin. You can even hold it to you and make a rub mark but don't break the skin!! It's really important not to. You have to resit near all your might.. (this may sound weird but it truly does work. Taking it slowly make it all work) The next thing to do is stop completely. One light of day when you feel like you have to do it in recent times don't..that's the only real way to conquer it and stop. But you must clutch it slowly.. because if you don't your going to break down and it will have all been worthless. The end and final step is to find a new way to let out your sorrow/anger/sadness. I write. (or close to I said cry..) This can be so many things like: writing, poetry, exercising, taking a hot bath, listen to music, drawing, talking to a friend/family member, etc. Find something you love and let that be your up to date escape. And remember if you're ever so tempted to cut just remember that it wont help you..cry if zilch else helps(it really does help) and just try and move on w/o self harming.
It is worthless and greatly bad for you..and I hope you can stop. It's such a terrible thing to do to yourself and of late thinking about the pain (that it only worsens) make me want to cry. I hope this helped in the least bit and you can verbs in your life.
(also if you find that you cannot stop on your own I suggest talking to a counselor/close people relative/friend. I have never done so and am not sure if I ever will but I'm sure it would help. I've been bursting for more or less a year now to just tell my mom or dad or..someone..anyone but I don't hold the will power to do so. if you do I think it will help you a LOT)
